11th June 2020 – Auction of Assets from River Humber Gasline Project

Auctioneering firm Gordon Brothers has more than 100 years of experience working with businesses, operators and investors. The firm provides valuation and disposition services for plant and equipment, real estate and inventory across a broad range of industries. Gordon Brothers is selling a huge selection of equipment used in the construction of a 5km gas tunnel under the River Humber. The 18-month project to construct the tunnel, located 30m below the river Humber, was completed in September 2019. According to National Grid, the pipeline carried within the tunnel can provide up to a quarter of Britain’s gas supplies.

Bidding on lots in the online auction will close on the 11th of June. The assets are located in Goxhill, North Lincolnshire and Paull, East Yorkshire. Equipment may be inspected by appointment only on the 3rd and 4th of June.

Modular site buildings which were installed new in 2016-2017 and include AV Danzar modular site headquarters office block, modular canteen and welfare building, security building and Integra Buildings modular buildings. Onsite vehicles including Land Rover Discovery 4 registered in 2010. Water treatment equipment including Siltbuster silt filtering settlement tank and Valoriser & Preserver membrane filter elements. Construction site equipment including: heavy duty steel constructed RSJ generator platform; Prolectric solar street lights; Ingersoll Rand rotary screw receiver mounted air compressor; security pedestrian access turnstile; 40′ steel double doors site container (3); ESAB mobile mig welder. Office furniture and business equipment including: workstations, pedestals, bookcases, reception desk, meeting room equipment and much more.
