Auctioneering firm Gordon Brothers has more than 100 years of experience working with businesses, operators and investors. Gordon Brothers is selling a huge selection of equipment used in the construction of a 5km gas tunnel under the River Humber. The 18-month project to construct the tunnel, located 30m below the river Humber, was completed in September 2019. According to National Grid, the pipeline carried within the tunnel can provide up to a quarter of Britain’s gas supplies.
Bidding on lots in the online auction will close on the 11th of June. The assets are located in Goxhill, North Lincolnshire and Paull, East Yorkshire. Equipment may be inspected by appointment only on the 3rd and 4th of June.
