New Mill Capital is selling a state-of-the-art dried fruit plant formerly operated by Oceana Foods.
The Oceana Foods plant in Shelby, Michigan features blending, drying and evaporative process equipment and retail and food service packaging lines. The plant specialised in the drying and processing of Montmorency tart cherries grown in and around Michigan. In July Cherry Central Cooperative announced plans to idle the facility, following year-over-year cherry crop shortages.
The online auction opens on the 11th of November and closes on the 18th of November.
