12th June 2020 – Auction of Complete Mississippi Saw Mill Operation and Real Estate

Industrial auctioneering specialist Myron Bowling Auctioneers was established in 1975 and incorporated in 1985. The firm conducts around 80 auctions every year in the United States, Canada and Mexico for clients across a wide range of industries including CNC machining, manufacturing and metal fabrication amongst others. Myron Bowling Auctioneers are selling a complete saw mill operation and associated real estate. The assets, formerly of Pro South Sawmill, come to the market by order of a secured party.

The webcast auction takes place on the 12th of June. The assets are located in Booneville, Mississippi and can be inspected on the day before the auction. Items featured in the sale include:

Pioneer 58” 200-HP sawmill w/40’ integrated infeed log deck, sawyer’s cab w/AB panel view plus 600 touch screen, 40’ outfeed conveyor; Cooper Machine Company end dogging 54” 200-hp scragg mill w/infeed & outfeed conveyor; Cooper Machine Company overhead end dogging 48” 100-HP scragg mill w/infeed & outfeed conveyor; Beloit ring debarker; log loading and cutoff Station; Montgomery bark hog; Schurman thin guided kerf gang saw w/(2) 300-HP arbor motors; Pioneer & Reckart machine edgers; lumber handling and sorting systems and more.

The real estate available in the sale includes a 16.25 acre main office and service warehouse parcel, 43.75 acre woodyard parcel, 28.75 acre sawmill parcel and 382 acres of timberland. The 44,777 square feet of building area was constructed between 2014 and 2015 and features a 20,842 square foot office and service warehouse and 24,000 square foot sawmill manufacturing building and storage sheds. The property suffered some tornado damage in early 2020.
