12th May 2020 – Sale of Fabrication Equipment and Other Machinery from Supreme Steel LP

Founded in 1975 and incorporated 1985, Myron Bowling is one of the largest auctioneering firms in the United States, holding around 80 auctions annually. The firm has expertise across a broad range of industry sectors including machine tools, CNC machining, metal fabrication and energy. This May Myron Bowling in conjunction with DG Auction Services will sell a large selection of fabrication equipment and other machinery. The assets come to the market following the closure of the Supreme Steel plant in Delta, British Columbia.

Supreme Steel was founded in 1972 and the group is one of the largest steel construction companies in Canada. Supreme Steel Vancouver provides construction and fabrication services across British Columbia, Yukon, Alaska and western United States. In August 2020 the firm announced the closure of their Delta fabrication plant and their Winnipeg facility. Fabrication operations will continue at Supreme Steel plants in Portland, Saskatoon and Edmonton.

The timed, online auction will take place on the 12th of May. The assets can be inspected on the 11th of May and include:

Fabrication equipment including: Messer Titan oxy fuel cutting machine (1999, disassembled, no table); Peddinghaus mechanical ironworker; Elk River Machine Co. brake/shear combo machine; Compustep drill; DoAll vertical bandsaw (2009); radial arm drills by Femco and Foradia; Clifton & Baird HD milling machine. Beam line including: Controlled Automation beam drilling machine; HE&M saw; Whitney Anglematic angle line. More than 60 welders including models by Miller, Lincoln and Hobart. Material handling equipment including Mi-Jack gantry crane and diesel forklifts by Kalmar and TCM. Scissor lifts, trucks, rigging equipment and much more.
