Canadian global asset management firm Ritchie Bros. was first established in 1958 and has since grown to be one of the largest auctioneers of trucks and heavy equipment worldwide. Operating from more than 40 permanent auction sites in over 15 countries, Ritchie Bros. provides auctioneering services to businesses across the construction, mining and transportation sectors. A recent online auction of equipment from Ritchie Bros. facility in Houston, Texas attracted over 13,200 bidders. Over 4,600 lots were sold in the auction which closed with a gross transaction value of US$55+ million. Top sellers in the auction included a 2019 Caterpillar 815K compactor selling for US$485,000, and a 2002 Grove GMK5240 240-ton 10x8x10 all-terrain crane which sold for US$325,000.

In an online auction between the 7th and 9th of December, Ritchie Bros. will sell a huge offering of equipment from their facility in Fort Worth, Texas.
