The Branford Group has global expertise in the valuation and auction of industrial assets, connecting buyers and sellers across the world. The firm, in conjunction with Prestige Auctions, will sell a large selection of equipment from an auto stamping and machining facility located in Livonia, Michigan. The assets come to the market following the complete closure of the AMI Livonia.
AMI Livonia was founded in 1963 and specialised in metal parts stamping. In March 2019 the company announced the closure of their 95,000 square foot facility following loss of business. A notice filed with the State noted that “The company’s customers have unexpectedly exercised their rights to resource orders and move work away from the company beginning immediately.”
The online auction opens on the 14th of April and bidding closes on the 16th of April. Assets are available to view on the 14th of April. Items featured in the sale include:

Brown & Sharpe Oryzo CMM and a large quantity of height gauges, inspection tools and granite surface plates. Bridge cranes and air compressor.
