Perfection Industrial Sales, in conjunction with LOEB, is auctioning aluminum impact extrusion assets formerly operated by JLO Metal Products. The equipment comes to the market following company closure.
Chicago based JLO Metal Products was founded in 1972. The firm specialised in aluminum impact extrusions for application in a range of industries, including automotive suppliers, military contractors, packaged goods suppliers and lighting component manufacturers. JLO Metal Products utilised three techniques: forward, reverse and combination impact extrusion for the fabrication of a range of different shapes and profiles.
The live webcast auction will take place on the 22nd of September, with pre-auction offers invited on major assets. Equipment available includes: 28 impact extrusion presses (up to 1,000 ton) by Herlan, Schuler and Guzzi; 5 Bliss, Clearing, Johnson and Rousselle SS presses (up to 400 ton); 4 OBI presses (up to 80 ton); 6 Neff and Greenerd presses (up to 75 ton); 2010 Brother 4-axis CNC tapping center; HAAS TL-3 & TL-2 CNC lathes (new as of 2007); HAAS VF-1 VMC; turning centers by Daewoo and Takisawa; wash and lube lines; forklifts; tool room equipment, inspection equipment and more.
