Harry Davis & Company will sell a huge selection of meat processing and packaging equipment from the Smithfield Foods and Saags meat facilities located in San Jose and San Leandro, California.
Meat processing company Smithfield Foods Inc. was established in 1936. Earlier this year the company announced the closure of their pork processing plant in San Jose which manufactured corned beef and ready to cook bacon. The closure followed the shutdown of their Saag’s Speciality Meats plant located in San Leandro which produced sausages and premium deli meat products.
