Perfection Machinery Sales Inc, first established in 1963, has global expertise in the appraisal, valuation and sale of industrial assets. The company are to sell cable manufacturing equipment surplus to the operation of Cortland Cable. The sale takes place in conjunction with Commission Brokers.
Cortland Cable design and manufacture ropes, slings and specialist products for a wide range of industries including marine, energy, aerospace and defense. The closure of the Cortland Cable facility in Cortland, New York, was announced in September 2019. The decision was influenced by declines in the oil and gas industries, key clients for the cables manufactured by the company.
The online auction takes place on the 17th of March.
