Food product manufacturer Smucker’s was founded in 1897. The firm now manufactures over 40 brands for retail and supplies to the food service sector. Smucker’s portfolio of products includes fruit spreads, syrups, peanut butter and ice cream toppings. Smucker’s also manufactures low sugar and sugar free options.
The online auction opens on the 30th of November and bidding closes on the 7th of December. The assets are located in Ripon, Wisconsin and can be inspected by appointment with the auctioneer only. Equipment featured in the auction includes: 60,000 gallon 316 & 304 stainless silos; stainless blend tanks; late model vacuum cooking systems; liquifiers; scrape surface kettles; heat exchangers; pd, diaphragm and centrifugal pumps; continuous cookers; pasteurizing tunnel; APV 2-stage homogenizer; supersack systems; compete filling and packaging lines (depalletizer through palletizer including filling, labeling, level detectors, x-ray, shrink sleevers); secondary packaging; ribbon blenders; contherms; shrink bundlers; cartooning; drum pumps; tray packing; metal detectors and more.
