18th June 2020 – Metal Parts and Fasteners Manufacturing Equipment for Sale

Cincinnati Industrial Auctions was founded in 1961. The firm provides asset disposition, appraisal and auction services to a broad client base – from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses – across North America. This June CIA are selling a huge offering of equipment from metal part and fastener manufacturer John Hassall Inc. The assets come to the market following the closure of the firms manufacturing plant located in Westbury, New York.

John Hassall Inc was established in 1850. The firm specialises in the manufacture of metal fasteners and custom designed metal parts including pins, rivets, screws and cold formed parts, supplying to the aerospace, automotive, commercial, marine and medical sectors. John Hassall Inc announced the closure of their Westbury facility in June 2019 in a decision attributed to economic reasons.

The webcast auction will take place on the 17th and 18th of June. The assets will be available for inspection on the day before the auction. More than 800 lots are featured in the sale, including:

Hot forge aerospace fasteners including: National 56 high speed long stroke w/ induction heat; 88 ton & 66 ton clearing hot forge presses w/ induction heat. Asahi Sunac, Asahi Okuma and Nakashimada multi-die headers. Cold headers, nail machines and drawers including:National 45 & 34 long stroke; (4) Wafios nail headers; Waterbury toggle headers. Thread rolling and secondary equipment. Heat treat and finishing equipment including: VFS vacuum furnace; GCA vacuum furnace; AGM link belt hardinge furnace; Hayes vacuum furnace; parts washing and finishing departmentToolroom and support equipment including: Star Swiss CNC screw machines; Hardinge HLVH lathes and much more.
