18th June 2020 – Auction of Thermoforming and Extrusion Equipment from Food Packaging Manufacturer

The Branford Group – comprised of two business divisions, Branford Auctions and Branford Valuations – has over 20 year of experience in the valuation and sale of surplus industrial equipment, machinery, real estate and turn-key manufacturing facilities.The Branford Group conduct over 100 timed online and live webcast auctions each year, as well as on-site auctions and negotiated private treaty sales. This June, in conjunction with Myron Bowling Auctioneers Inc., The Branford Group will sell a selection of thermoforming and extrusion equipment. The assets come to the market following the closure of a division of Tech II.

Family owned plastic packaging manufacturer Tech II was established in 1969. Initially supplying products to the computer and aircraft industries, the company now specialise in the manufacture of plastic lids for the food industry, applying their expertise in injection molding, in-mold labelling and printing.

The webcast and on location auction will take place on the 18th of June. The assets are located in Springfield, Ohio, and can be viewed ahead of the sale on the 17th of June. Items featured in the sale include:

Five complete thermoforming with in-mold labeling and extruding lines; 2012 Welex model 4.5 30:1 Extruder; 2016, 2014 and 2013 Thermoforming Systems FT4K thermoformers with Ilsemann Automation T-IML lablers, 2014 Gabler 4PlayL preheaters, Tria granulators, 2014 Yaskawa Motoman robot. Thermoforming Systems FT3500 thermoformer, Sunwell preheater, Hekuma T-IML labeler and Rapid granulator; Lavida LTDA thermoformer, Sunwell preheater. Plastic raw material silos, inspection and maintenance equipment. Caterpillar, Nissan and Yale forklifts, Genie and Skyjack scissor lifts, air compressors and more.

In addition, the 190,000 square foot manufacturing facility will be offered at auction, and complete molds and IML tooling packages for food container product lines.
