18th June 2020 – Sale of Thermoforming and Extrusion Equipment from Food Packaging Manufacturer Tech II

Industrial auctioneering specialist Myron Bowling Auctioneers provides auction services across a broad range of industries including CNC machining, manufacturing and metal fabrication amongst others. The firm was established in 1975 and now conduct around 80 auctions every year across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

This June Myron Bowling Auctioneers will sell a large selection of thermoforming and other equipment. The assets come to the market following the closure of a division of food packaging manufacturer Tech II. The sale takes place in conjunction with The Branford Group.

Established in 1969, family owned plastic packaging manufacturer Tech II began supplying products to the computer and aircraft industries. Tech II now specialises in the manufacture of plastic lids for the food and pharmaceutical sectors.

The live auction and webcast will take place on the 18th of June. The assets are located in Springfield, Ohio, and can be viewed ahead of the sale on the 17th of June. Lots featured in the sale include:

Five thermoforming lines featuring equipment manufactured by Thermoforming Systems, La Vida, Sunwell, Ilsemann IML and Tria. Extruders including: 2012 Welex extruder; Maguire blenders; Welex barrier laminating system. In mold labelling molds for containers; in-mold label tooling. Raw materials, including virgin plastic and plastic regrind. Plastic related equipment including: 2017 Forunto plastic crusher; Rapid plastic grinder and Ball & Jewell plastic granulators. Chillers, air conditioning equipment, air compressors and dryers, toolroom equipment, test and inspection equipment, trucks, forklifts and material handling equipment.

In addition, the sale features two lots of real estate: a modern and well-maintained manufacturing facility, and a parcel of vacant land described as mostly tillable.
