CA Global Partners, together with Hickman Shearer, is selling spares and inventory from the Fiddler’s Ferry power station located in Warrington, UK.

Fiddler’s Ferry power station was operated by Scottish and Southern Electric prior to its closure and decommissioning in March 2020. The plant was amongst the largest coal fired power stations in the UK, with a peak power generation capacity of 1.9GW and serving 2 million people. The plant included four coal and biomass fired units and was the first dedicated biomass co-firing station in the UK.

The auction will take place on the 16th of February. Equipment available in the sale includes: Ferranti generator transformers; ABS ACS 355 drives; Siemens gearboxes and drives; transformer rectifiers; Exciter drive coupling assembly; unit gear, coagulation, rapid and floculation mixer; complete bare shaft units; Weir BV500 diaphragm actuator; induction and geared motors; butterfly valves, gate valves, parallel slide valves, rotork actuator electric ball valves; vacuum exhauster iron pumps, Flygt submersible pumps, duplex rotary piston vacuum pumps, oil pumps, filtration pumps, hydraulic pumps, gear pumps; fuses; lifting equipment and more.

Assets are located in Warrington, UK and can be inspected by appointment with the auctioneer only.
