Rabin is selling a major bulk tomato processing plant surplus to the ongoing needs of Olam International.
Olam International is a food and agri-business company based in Singapore. In 2020 the firm reorganised to distinct operating groups. These include agribusiness Olam Agri focused on high-growth consumption markets, and ofi, focused on food products and ingredients. Olam International has a presence in more than 60 countries and operates 75 large processing and manufacturing facilities. In 2022 the firm announced plans to sell off their processing plant located in Leemore, California.
The 2-day online auction will be held on the 1st and 2nd of March. Assets featured in the sale include: tomato peeling and receiving lines including complete FMC SP-20 steam peeling systems, Farmco soft fruit eliminators and Odenberg Alpha sorters, Vaughn centrifugal chopper pump sets, Hycor Rotoshear rotary screens, bulk tomato receiving stations with elevating dewatering belts. Evaporation, sterilization and aseptic filling equipment including Rossi Catelli evaporator systems, Fran Rica aseptic flash cooler towers, Gulf multi-effect T.A.S.T.E (tomato juice) evaporator system, Fran Rica ABF-1200 aseptic filling systems. Dicing, pulping and hot break systems including Fran Rica rotary coil hot break tanks, Urschel HA dicers, 3600 pomace mills, + Rietz RP-12 disintegrator, Rossi Catelli El Dorado and ING Rossi continuous hot breaks. Power generation and facility support equipment, and more. Site inspections will take place from the 9th of January.
