The Branford Group is selling a great selection of late model processing, laboratory and facility equipment formerly operated by Akorn. The auction takes place in conjunction with Heritage Global Partners.
Akorn develops and manufactures speciality pharmaceuticals, including consumer health, animal health and prescription products. The firm specialises in alternate dosage formats for branded and generic pharmaceutical products including oral liquids, topicals, nasal sprays, injectables and oral liquids. Akorn operates manufacturing and R&D facilities across the United States and in Switzerland.
The online auction opens on the 13th of February and closes on the 14th of February. Equipment featured in the auction includes: (2) 395-gallon Kettle Olsa Turbo kettle processor tanks; 2019 Mettler Toledo Starweigh hi speed check weigher; Mettler Toledo 1-100gm tube packaging line; Kalix Tube Filler, KX-800; Chase Logeman System XZ16000; FMS cartoning line model 2100 MIAL with Nordson gluer; Optel model OP300 inspector (2017); (2) Agilent 1260 HPLC; (5) Agilent 1290 HPLC, Infinity II; (7) Thermo Scientific Ultimate 3000 UHPLC; Thermo Scientific TRACE 1310 gas chromatograph; Mettler Toledo Sevenexcellence Multiparameter; Mettler Toledo XPR36DR micro-analytical balance; Mettler Toledo DM40 density meter; Malvern Mastersizer 3000; (2) 2021 Trane 100 ton glycol chillers and much more. The assets are located in Somerset, New Jersey and can be inspected by appointment on the 13th of February.
