Federal Equipment Company is selling confectionery and facility support equipment formerly operated by Catalent Inc. The auction is held in conjunction with Heritage Global Partners.

Catalent Inc. specialises in product development for the pharma, biotech and consumer health sectors. The firm applies expertise in delivery technologies, development sciences and multi-modality manufacturing in industry partnerships. Catalent Inc. has manufacturing operations at more than 50 locations globally and launches over 150 new products each year.

Online bidding will be available on the 7th and 8th of February. The assets are located in Roselle, New Jersey and include: Bartelt horizontal form, fill, and seal packaging line; Hayssen model 12-16HR vertical form, fill, and seal packaging line; Hayssen Ultima model 8-12HR vertical form, fill, and seal packaging line; Mueller stretch wrap machine; Glenco refrigerator; Customized Equipment top and bottom case taper; approx. 6,000 gallon, 4,000 gallon and 1,200 gallon stainless steel horizontal dairy tanks; approx. 3,500 gallon and 4,000 gallon carbon steel epoxy-lined vertical tank; Cherry Burrell approx. 7,000 gallon stainless steel vertical tank; Hensella-Werke candy forming machines; Hansella-Werke cooling line; Lock model MET 30+ metal detectors; Ter Braak continuous hard candy cooker; Carle & Montanari model CMY55 twisting machines; FIN Fine Foods Machinery model Z1500X1 pillow pack machine (used to run tests only, never in production); GD type GV1001 candy twisting machines, maintenance equipment and more.
