Maynards is selling steel casting equipment formerly operated by Columbia Steel Casting Co. The sale takes place in conjunction with FL Sales Inc.
Columbia Steel Casting Co. specialised in casting services including design and engineering, metallurgy, pattern making, molding and machining. The firm engineered replacement parts for high wear applications, including in mine shovels, rock crushers and draglines. Plans to close the company were announced in August 2022.
Days 2 and 3 of the 3-day online auction close on the 8th and 9th of March. The assets are located in Portland, Oregon and can be viewed on the 6th of March or by appointment with the auctioneer.
