A Liquidity Services Marketplace, GoIndustry DoveBid is an online auction service specialising in connecting buyers with sellers of industrial equipment worldwide. This March Go-Dove will sell a selection of large capacity precision machinetools and metalworking equipment. The assets come to the market following the closure of the Ingersoll Rand manufacturing operation located in Buffalo, New York. The sale takes place in conjunction with Prestige Auctions.
Headquartered in Ireland, industrial manufacturing firm Ingersoll Rand was established in 1905 as a result of the merger of Ingersoll-Sergeant Drill Company and Rand Drill Company. In 2019 Ingersoll Rand announced the ceasation of manufacturing at their Buffalo facility. A technology center will be maintained at the site, whilst production from the plant will be transferred to the Ingersoll Rand site in Mocksville, North Carolina.
Bidding in lots in the online auction closes on the 19th of March.
