Rabin is selling stainless tanks, dicers, blenders and other equipment surplus to the ongoing needs of SunOpta. Rabin was appointment by the company to inventory surplus processing and packaging equipment at SunOpta’s Minnesota storage facility with a view to possibly redeploying assets to other division of SunOpta. The asset listing for the auction will be finalised at the end of March.

Global food company SunOpta specialises in the production of natural, organic, non-GMO plant and fruit-based food and beverage products. The firm manufactures for retailers and branded food companies. SunOpta products include frozen fruit, fruit-based snacks and ingredients, plant-based beverages and ingredients, broth, stock, tea and roasted snacks.
