Apeel Sciences manufactures edible, post-harvest coatings used to enhance the shelf life of citrus, avocados and fruits. The coating, made from edible monoglycerides and diglycerides found in foods, reduces the spoilage rate of produce by reducing oxidation and retaining moisture.
