Cincinnati Industrial Auctioneers is selling a plastic extrusion facility formerly operated by Crescent Plastics Inc.
Crescent Plastics Inc. was founded in 1949, specialising in custom plastics extrusions for supply to the point of purchase, appliance, heavy trucking, lighting fixture and agriculture industries. The firm announced their closure in late 2022. The decision to discontinue operations was influenced by a reduction in domestic demand for products.
The webcast auction will take place on the 2nd of May. The available assets include: 65MM Milacron model TC-65 twin-screw extruder (2005); (2) 3.5″ NRM model 3.5 Pacemaker 70 high heat extruders; (10) 3.5″ Prodex, HPM and NRM extruders; 6″ Diameter x 23′ Conair MV55-23-6 R-L vacuum sizing tank; 10′ RDN Model 20PVS-10 vacuum sizing tank; (5) 6″ x 4′ Youngstown plastic belt pullers (new as 2011); (16) Farria & others belt pullers; (8) 3″ Goodman fly knife cutters; (16) shop built upacting traveling extrusion saws; Mitsui model DMZ2-240U dryer with hopper (2019); (10) Conair 400 series dryers; 40 HP Pulverizer with dust collector and mac hopper; Maguire/Novatec three-part blender (2015); (2) Conair three-part blenders and more. The assets can be previewed the day before the auction or by appointment with the auctioneer.
