Prestige Equipment, in conjunction with Holland Industrial Group is selling assets from a vise-grip manufacturing plant operated by Malco. The assets come to the market following the closure of the facility located in De Witt, Nebraska.
Malco manufactures high-performance hand tools used in HVAC, fence and rail installation and exterior remodelling. The firm is headquartered in Annandale, Minnesota. In 2017 Malco expanded to a 500,000 square foot facility in De Witt, Nebraska specialising in the manufacture of locking handle products. They recently announced their withdrawal from that market.
The two-day auction will take place on the 23rd and 24th of May. The assets can be inspected by appointment and include: Stamtec S2-260 260 ton straight side mechanical double crank press; Seyi Sutherland HSD-550 550 ton straight side double crank mechanical press; Minster S-1-200-30-36 200T straight side single crank press; (30+) Federal OBI presses, 46 ton to 125 ton; Allegheny DS-150-88/66 die handler; National 1000 Maxipress 1000-ton forging press; Broaching Machine Specialties VTF 10-66 vertical hydraulic broach; (3) Detroit VTGT 10 Ton x 66” twin ram vertical hydraulic broaching machines; Haas VF-5XT CNC vertical machining center; 2021 Orbitform CNC orbital riveter; 2020 Lindberg/MPH utility box furnace; finishing equipment, machine tools, plant support equipment and much more.
