Surplus Solutions is selling state of the art laboratory equipment formerly operated by Reditus Laboratories. The auction takes place in partnership with HyperAMS.

Full-service laboratory company Reditus Laboratories was established in 2019, initially focusing on anatomic pathology and histology for podiatrists. The firm’s laboratory facilities were increased to accommodate testing for COVID-19, and to expand testing into areas of infectious disease, hematopathology, Next-Gen sequencing and flow cytometry. In November 2022 Reditus Laboratories announced the cessation of laboratory testing and the liquidation of their assets.

The auction opens on the 8th of May and bidding on lots will close on the 10th and 11th of May. The auction features include laboratory and molecular diagnostic equipment, tool room equipment, IT equipment, fitness center equipment, office furniture and more. Lots in the sale include:  BD Kiestra ReadA intelligent incubation and imaging system, BD Phoenix M50 microbiology analyzer w/ Phoenix AP, Bruker BD MALDI Biotyper Sirius system, BD MAX molecular diagnostic testing system, (2) Illumina NextSeq 550Dx gene sequencer, BD FACSLyric flow cytometer, (4) Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 5 real-time PCR system, (6) Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 12K Flex real-time PCR system, Illumina NextSeq 2000 sequencing system, multiple 3′ and 4′ Thermo 1300 Series A2 biosafety cabinets, (9) Thermo KingFisher Flex DNA/RNA purification system, (4+) PHCBI Ultra-Low Temperature -80C freezer and more. The assets are located in Pekin, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
