EquipNet is selling laboratory assets formerly owned by Novartis. The assets, which include equipment manufactured by Waters, Thermo, Agilent, Illumina and others, come to the market due to the restructuring of the Novartis laboratory in Basel, Switzerland.

Swiss multinational pharmaceutical firm Novartis comprises two operating divisions: Innovative Medicines, focused on patent-protected prescription medicines and Sandoz, focused on generic pharmaceuticals and biosimilars. Novartis products are marketed in around 155 countries across the world.

The online auction of over 300 lots opens on the 5th of June and bidding begins to close on the 6th of June.  The assets can be inspected by appointment only and include: Waters Acquity UPC2 supercritical fluid chromatography system with PDA and Xevo TQ-S Micro MS; Unchained Labs 800-2000 Hound SPE RapID Raman spectrometer; Agilent Technologies Cary 660 FT-IR system with IR Microscope; Applied Biosystems Quantstudio7 flex real time PCR system; Agilent Technologies 1260 Infinity HPLC system with DAD; Waters Acquity UPLC system with PDA detector; Hamilton Microlab STARplus liquid handler; Agilent Technologies 1200 HPLC system; GE Healthcare Sepax C-Pro Cell processing system; Innovatis Casy TT cell counter analyzer; Waters Q-TOF Premier mass spectrometer; GE Healthcare Bio-Sciences Xuri W5 cell expansion system with perfusion and CO2|air mix controllers; Haemonetics Corporation Cell Saver 5 Plus blood recovery system and much more.
