Winternitz is auctioning equipment from Kichatna Apparel Manufacturing. The assets come to the market due to business closure. Kichatna Apparel Manufacturing provided contract sewing services to apparel brands, specialising in the manufacture of athletic and outdoor apparel. The closure was attributed to issues relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, including material and labor costs.
The auction will take place on the 13th of June. Assets are located in Salem, Oregon and can be inspected by appointment with the auctioneer only. The equipment available in the auction includes: Kuris Cutty 2317Z HD CNC single ply fabric cutter, DGI Poseidon 64 in. dye sublimation transfer printer (2019), Klieverik model GTC101-1850SP graphic flowline series transfer printing calender (2017), Top Rank Machinery model TR-90 blank mask making machine, CREC 27-ton model 27-SA-M-J-N swing arm press, over 65 sewing machines including models by Kansai, Juki and Foxsew, Jocky model JK-924T hot air seam sealing machine, Pfaff 901-8304-122 program ultrasonic welding seam sealing machine, Nitron 24 in. model NT-7700 fusing machine, Utica Mill Specialty 66 in. slitter/rewinder, Inkcups 2-color model ICN-2200 pad printing machine, inventory including rolls of fabric, meltblown, rolls of spunbond polypropylene and much, much more.
