In an auction closing on the 17th of January, Surplex is to sell 3 press moulding lines, due to the decommissioning of the WHIRLPOOL Industrial Site in Naples, Italy.
WHIRLPOOL said that the closure was necessary because the production of high-end washing machines in Naples was no longer profitable.
The press moulding lines comprise of:
• QS GROUP Cabinet Production Line (for Side and Rear Structures of Washing Machines) – New around € 5.5 Million. Used for thickness max 0.9 mm. Composed of : Decoiler, Straightener, Shear group, 3 forming presses with SIEMENS control – Plasma Cabinet welding station.
• CAVENAGHI & RIDOLFI Pressing Line (for Front Parts of Washing Machines) consisting of :- SA 6000 Decoiler, Straightening machine RNM 9782, Shear H 200 UW 200, 5 forming presses – Robot not included.
• MIRAMONDI Drum Pressing Line (Production of Washing Machine Drums) composed of :- Decoiler, Straightening machine, Forming presses.
