Zume is a global manufacturer of plant-based alternatives to single use plastics. Their products include fully compostable meal boxes, containers, pizza boxes and beverage cups made from moldable plant fibres. Zume is partnered with manufacturers and distributors across 25 countries.
The assets are located in New Jersey, Texas, Pennsylvania, California, China and India and include: (92) unused thermoformer presses; (5) complete thermoformer production lines / manufacturing centers; (23) unused trimmers; (23) unused pulp formers; packaging equipment including Comec KV30 Servo controlled semi-automatic pad printing lines, Engineered Printing solutions heat tunnels, Thermo Scientific Sentinel metal detectors; laboratory equipment including AmScope microscope, Instron Model 1011 tension and compression machine, portable turbidimeter; 2018 Haas VM-6 vertical mold making machine, bench grinder; material handling equipment including; Uni Carriers electric forklift, Doosan electric walk-behind pallet jack; plant support equipment; parts; office furniture and equipment; $3M+ of Zume finished goods inventory and raw materials and much more. Intellectual property is also available. The assets are offered for immediate sale and can be inspected by appointment with the auctioneer only.
