TCL Asset Group Inc. is selling construction assets, mining equipment and rolling stock from the De Beers Canada Victor mine site.
De Beers Group was established in 1888 and has been active in Canada for over 50 years. The firm is involved in all aspects of the diamond industry. The Victor mine, located in the James Bay Lowlands of Northern Ontario, was an open pit mine and the first diamond mine in Ontario. The mine was operational between 2008 and 2019. These auctions feature the equipment remaining at the site.
Day one of the auction, on the 12th of July, will be a live webcast auction of major assets. Day two, on the 13th of July, will be a timed online auction featuring general and support equipment. Equipment available in the auctions includes: CAT 777F haul trucks, Caterpillar 16H grader, CAT 966G Series II wheel loader, CAT 950H wheel loader, Cat 385C LME excavator, Hyster H550F fork lift truck, JCB 508C telehandler, Genie telescopic boom lift, BobCat S70 skidsteer, Broderson carry deck crane, Sterling salt truck, Clemro primary plant, Clemro radial stacker, Clemro jaw crusher, Dodge Ram pick-up trucks, Ford pick-up trucks, Toyota/LandCruiser utility vehicle and much, much more. Assets have been removed to two laydown yards in Moosonee and Porcupine, Ontario and can be inspected by appointment only.
