Rabin is selling a chocolate molding, enrobing, candy machines and packaging equipment formerly operated by SweetWorks Confections. The auction takes place in partnership with Union Confectionery Machinery.
New York based SweetWorks Confections manufactures chocolate and candy products. The firm produces several types of confectionery under a number of brand names. SweetWorks Confections announced the winding down of their operations in June.
The auction will take place on the 7th of September. Lots available in the sale include: Jensen 600 x 305 molding line, Aasted type 700 solid molding plant, Kassalik KMS-800 chocolate/nut cluster line, KCM (Knobel) CCM12 depositor, (2) Collmann hollow molding production lines, Delver hollow molding line, 34″ enrobing line with Werner 32” wire cut extruder, (5) Carle & Montanari model CMY55/CB4 and Y55/CB foil wrappers, (2) Rasch model RHE foil wrappers, (17) 1,000lb to 95,000lb vertical and horizontal chocolate tanks, caramel kitchen equipment, Rovema VPK 260 vertical FFS machine, packaging machinery and more. The assets are located in Buffalo, New York and can be inspected on the 11th of September by appointment with the auctioneer only.
