The Branford Group are selling machined and fabricated component manufacturing equipment, including late model machinery, on behalf of WestStar Precision. The assets come to the market following the retirement of the owner and the complete closure of the facility located in Apex, North Carolina.
WestStar Precision designs and manufactures made-to-order components for the aerospace and biotech industries. The company offers low and high-volume production of CNC machined components from aluminium, stainless steel, titanium and steel alloy.
The internet webcast auction will take place on the 22nd of April. The assets, all of which were purchased new by WestStar Precision, can be inspected ahead of the sale, on the 21st of April. Items featured in the auction include:

CNC vertical machining centers including: Haas VF10/40 CNC vertical machining center; Fadal 4020HT, VMC15 XT, VMC 15 and VMC 3016 CNC Vertical Machining Centers. Hanwha SL20H CNC Swiss automatic lathe. CNC water jet machining equipment including: Omax 80x precision jet machining center; Omax 2652 jet machining centers with pump systems. TRUMPF Truebend 7036 6-axis ergonomic high speed CNC hydraulic press brake. Coordinate measuring machines & quality control equipment from Nikon, Faro, Brown & Sharpe and Mitutoyo. Saws including: Marvel Spartan PA13/3 horizontal metal cutting band saw; Everite TC1C electro chemical cutter tube cut-off machine and Cosen C-300NC horizontal metal cutting band saw.
