Lambert Smith Hampton is auctioning tannery manufacturing equipment, textile machinery and other assets formerly operated by Pittards plc. The auction takes place on behalf of the joint administrators of the company. Pittards plc was found in Somerset, UK in 1826 and specialised in the development and manufacture of performance leathers and premium leather products under its own brand names and for third parties. The closure of the firm was announced in September.
Bidding in the auction will close on the 23rd of November. The assets are located in Yeovil, UK and can be inspected on the 22nd of November by appointment with the auctioneer only.
