Lambert Smith Hampton is auctioning tannery manufacturing equipment, textile machinery and other assets formerly operated by Pittards plc. The auction takes place on behalf of the joint administrators of the company. Pittards plc was found in Somerset, UK in 1826 and specialised in the development and manufacture of performance leathers and premium leather products under its own brand names and for third parties. The closure of the firm was announced in September.

Bidding in the auction will close on the 23rd of November. The auction features tannery equipment including Cartigliano SV5 FF3 Nero 70-32 vacuum dryer (2021), Moscani Super Zenat Evolution 3.0 Wet Blue hide splitting machine (2021), Alpe Matrix 33 Rasatrice whole hide shaving machine (2018), Bergi Selecta 32, 3200 1-3 buffing machine (2001), Cartigliano PAL3H3400 AUT staking machines (2002), Poletto shaving machines (6); general equipment including Omac TinGicinture belt dying machine (2007-2015, 4), Omac 860 Refintrice double ended brushing machine (2015), Omac Precision Rotativator (2013), Omac Heated press / embossing machine Omac Rifilatrice 302 trimming machine (2010), assorted sewing machines and overhead lockers (23), Dafeng DF-867A system head shoe press (2020); engineering and woodworking equipment, factory equipment, vehicles, manufactured leather, raw materials, finished goods and more. The assets are located in Yeovil, UK and can be inspected on the 22nd of November by appointment with the auctioneer only.
