Apex Auctions is selling a 20mW steam generating plant and supporting infrastructure. The auction takes place in conjunction with Aaron Industrial Solutions.
The plant, located in Oldbury, UK, was installed in 2015 and mothballed in 2019 with the turbine bared regularly. It features a WEG 2625Kva 11,000 volt synchronous continuous duty alternator (built 2012) and Triveni 20 mW steam bleed condensing turbine with gearbox (built 2012). The steam turbine has an inlet steam pressure of 40 bar, steam temperature of 400 degree C and a turbine speed of 6,150RPM. The input speed of the 21,800kW powered gearbox is 6150RPM and the output speed, 1,500rpm. Also included is a RO water plant, ACC vacuum condensing equipment and condensate polishing plant. Available for sale with the plant or as an individual purchase is an unused Triveni 20mW steam bleed condensing turbine with gearbox. Bidding in the auction closes on the 14th of November. The equipment can be inspected by appointment with the auctioneer only.
