Auction, appraisal and liquidation specialists Hyperams was founded in 2010. The Asset Disposition division of Hyperams specialises in live and webcast auctions, and in investing in surplus assets whilst the Appraisal division of the company provides valuation services for equipment, machinery and inventory across multiple industry sectors. Hyperams provides services to a broad range of clients including private equity firms, local, regional and national financial institutions and business owners.
In a 2 day auction this June, Hyperams will sell a huge selection of machinery and equipment used in the manufacture of cookware products. The assets come to the market following the complete plant liquidation of Columbian Home Products. Columbian Home Products submitted notice of the closure of their plant in Terre Haute, Indiana, in late 2019. The closure came about after a buyer could not be found for the business. Columbian Home Products manufactured enamelled steel cookware under the Graniteware label, Asian cookware under the Joyce Chen brand and Snow Rover cutting boards and kitchen carts.
The timed online auction takes place on the 23rd and 24th of June. The assets can be inspected on the 22nd of June. Items available on day one of the auction include: Komatsu 200 ton model S200-60-36 straight side double crank press; assorted presses (ranging from 10 to 400 ton) and associated press feed equipment. Tool room equipment including: lathes; horizontal and vertical band saws; vertical milling machines; rotary and hand feed surface grinders; welding equipment; Piranha P3 hydraulic ironworker and more. The second day of the auction includes: finishing department equipment including: Sweco grinding mill; mixing tanks; long ball mills; dust collectors; rotary enamel dip-pan coaters. Air compressors; air dryers; pallet style stretch wrappers; pallet wracking; office furniture and more.
