23rd July 2020 – Auction of CNC Machining & Turning Centers

The Branford Group is a market leader in the auction and valuation of surplus industrial equipment and machinery, entire manufacturing plants, real estate, intellectual property and industrial inventories across a wide range of industries. The company coordinates over 100 timed online and live webcast auctions every year, alongside private treaty sales. The Branford Group is selling precision machining and other equipment formerly of Ipsumm Inc. The sale takes place in conjunction with Cincinnati Industrial Auctioneers and HGR Industrial Surplus.

Product development company Ipsumm Inc. was founded in 2012 through the merger of several industry leaders. Headquartered in Massachusetts, Ipsumm also operates a facility in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The firm has four divisions: Hudson Cutting, specialising in die cutting, splitting and skiving; product design facilitator i2i Engineering; USM Americas, specialists in shoemaking equipment; and manufacturing support company Entakt.

The online auction begins on the 29th of June and bidding on lots closes on the 23rd of July. The assets, located at the Ipsumm facility in Portsmouth, can be inspected by appointment only on the 20th of July. Items featured in the sale include:

CNC vertical machining centers including: 2016 Haas model VF 4SS vertical machining center; Haas vertical machining centers models VF 4 and OE; Matsuura vertical machining center model MC 760V2CNC. Lathes including: 2013 Mori Seiki model NLX2500SY/700 CNC lathe; 2005 Haas SL-20T CNC Lathe. CNC Swiss type turning centers including: 2006 Star model SR-20RII Swiss turn lathe; 2004 Star model SB-16 Swiss turn lathe. Tsudakoma 12″ 4th axis rotary table; carbide inserts; cutters and facers; vises; Vidmar cabinets; large quantity of tooling and much more.
