24th April 2020 – Massive Sale of Heavy Equipment by Ritchie Bros.

Ritchie Bros. was first established in 1958 and the global asset management firm is now one of the largest auctioneers of heavy equipment worldwide.Headquartered in Vancouver, Ritchie Bros. has a presence in more than 15 countries and operates from over 40 permanent locations. The firm also has expertise in online auctioneering, utilising this to the full to continue equipment auctions during the COVID-19 crisis – recent sales in France, Sacramento and Ohio attracted record numbers of online bidders.

On the 24th of April, Ritchie Bros. will undertake an online auction of truck tractors, excavators and other equipment. This was originally planned to take place at Ritchie Bros. Los Angeles location on the 20th and 21st of March and was rescheduled in light of restrictions on large gatherings put in place by the State of California.

The auction of over 3,000 items includes: Over 200 truck tractors with models as recent and 2019 including: sleeper truck tractors by Kenworth, Volvo, Freightliner and International and day cab truck tractors by Freightliner, Kenworth, Mack and Peterbilt. Hydraulic excavators including: 2019 Hitachi ZX225USLC-6 hydraulic excavator; 2019 Caterpillar 320GC hydraulic excavator; 2011 Volvo EC460CL hydraulic excavator; 2012 Link-Belt 160X3 hydraulic excavator; 2013 Liugong 922D hydraulic excavator. Telescopic forklifts including: unused 2018 Genie GTH4018 8800 Lb 4x4x4 telescopic forklift;2018 JCB 506-36 6000 lb 4x4x4 telescopic forklift; 2012 Skytrak 10054 10000 Lb 4x4x4 telescopic forklift; 2006 Ingersoll-Rand VR1056C 10000 Lb 4x4x4 telescopic forklift.
