Hickman Shearer and CA Global Partners are selling a huge offering of outside broadcast and TV production equipment previously operated by Arena Television Ltd. The assets come to the market by order of the joint administrators for the company.
UK-based Arena Television Ltd was founded in 1988 and specialised in outside broadcast of sporting events. The firm fell into insolvency proceedings in late 2021.
The live and online auction of cameras, grip, lenses, EVS and sound and vision equipment will take place on the 22nd to 24th of February. Offers are invited now for outside broadcast trucks and trailers, with associated equipment.
The assets are located in Surrey, UK. More than 3,000 lots feature in the auction, including: over 100 Sony and Grass Valley camera channels, more than 100 Canon and Fujinon lenses, 100kms of OB and power cable, 9 outside broadcast trailers and rigid trucks, EVS production servers and Stage Racers, Vinten grip, sound desks and vision mixers, audio equipment from Riedel, Calrec, Black Magic, Genelec, Sennheiser, Wisycom, Sony and Apple, IT and Comms by Netinsight and Cisco.
