Maynards, in conjunction with Liquidity Services, is selling a huge offering of equipment formerly operated by Caterpillar Global Mining MHS GmbH. The assets come to the market following plant closure.
Caterpillar manufactures machinery for use in underground and surface mining, including drilling, digging, hailing, grading and loading equipment. Caterpillar announced the closure of their facility in Dortmund, Germany in 2020. The two-day auction of equipment will close on the 8th of March. Further equipment is available by private treaty sale, closing on the 9th of March.
Equipment featured in the auction includes: Raboma 12RH3500 radial drilling machine; Brunnhuber HIP 300 SSR hydraulic straightening press; Caterpillar heavy duty twin column welding manipulator with swiveling beam; Heinrichsglueck H 36 welding manipulator; Rasi E100.3 CNC tube bending machine; Linde E30-01 forklift; Linde L14 electric pallet truck; Genie Z-35/22N articulated telescopic work platform; shelving, tables, platforms and much, much more. The private treaty sale features: Kaltenbach Marathon A 4008 – shotblasting line (2011); Scharmann HeavyCut 2.3 – CNC ram-type floor borer (1987 / overhauled and modernized in 2016); Pema – CNC high-fexible robot-steel-frame production and welding line (2013); AMA Speedram 3000 plate boring and milling machine 2014.
