27th February 2020 – Auction of Plastic and Silicone Injection Moulding Machines

Liquidity Services marketplace GoIndustry DoveBid specialize in online auction services, connecting buyers with surplus assets across multiple industries including biopharma, consumer goods, metalworking and electronics manufacturing. Go-Dove will sell a large selection of plastic and silicone injection moulding machines, silos and ancillary equipment. The assets come to the market following the closure of the Philips Avent facility in Glemsford, UK.

Philips Avent manufactures child care products including baby bottles, breast pumps and other baby feeding and health accessories. In early 2019 the company announced plans to close their Suffolk factory. Following a review of their industrial footprint the decision was made to consolidate manufacturing operations, and the products made at the Glemsford site will be made at facilities in Indonesia and Holland in the future.

Bidding in lots in the online auction closes on the 27th of February. Assets can be inspected ahead of the auction by appointment only and include:

Demag and Nissei CNC plastic injection moulding machines; Arburg silicone injection moulding machines. Aluminum silos. Printing and packaging equipment including Croma colour pad printers, Domino inkjet printers and Marden Edwards banding machines. Ancillary equipment including: water chiller, silicone dosing pump, silicone drum feeds, hopper loaders, tool temperature controllers conveyors and dryers.
