This March, The Branford Group will sell machine shop equipment from LED lighting manufacturer OptoLum. The assets come to the market following facility closure. Arizona based OptoLum specialises in the manufacture of specification grade precision white LED lighting products.
Bidding in the online auction opens on the 7th of March and ends on the 16th of March. Equipment available includes machine shop equipment including 2018 ATrump E216 vertical machining center with centroid CNC controls, Grizzly vertical milling machine, RazorGage 600 upcut cyclone saw with CNC controls, JET horizontal band saw, Clark 1440K lathe with DRO, Dake H-Frame Press. Inspection electronic test and measurement equipment including Xantrex, Tektronix and Ametek Sorensen DC power supplies, Tektronix TDS-3014 4-channel digital phosphor oscilloscope, Rigol DSA815 spectrum analyzer. Plant support equipment including Atlas Copco and Gardner-Denver air compressors, UniCarriers MAP1F2A25LV forklift, double-sided and single-sided cantilever racking. Raw materials inventory including $100,000+ in LED electrical components and 3 Gaylords of virgin plastic resin, and more.
The equipment is located in Tempe, Arizona and may be inspected by appointment only.
