UK-based auctioneers New England was established in 1970 and provides asset disposition services to industrial and commercial clients across a range of sectors, including aerospace and defense, industrial engineering and construction. The firm is selling high performance polymer manufacturing machinery and equipment formerly of Albis UK Ltd.
Albis UK Ltd is a market leader in the distribution and compounding of thermoplastics and the development and manufacture of specialised technical plastics. The company operates seven manufacturing facilities and has 26 subsidiaries across Europe, Asia, North Africa and North America. In 2019 Albis UK Ltd announced the discontinuation of manufacturing at their facility in Knutsford, UK. Production will be moved to other locations, whilst distribution operations will continue from the site.
The online auction opened on the 24th of March and bidding closes on the 2nd of June. Assets may be viewed by appointment only on the 26th, 27th and 28th of May.
