Harry Davis & Company is selling a milk powder facility operated by California Dairies Inc. The online auction, scheduled to take place between the 5th and 7th of April, will feature over 800 lots of equipment located in Artesia, California.
California Dairies Inc. was formed following the merger of three Californian dairy processing cooperatives in 1999. The cooperative includes over 300 independent, family-owned dairies located across California. California Dairies Inc. manufactures butter, milk, milk powder and nutritional milk powder
Assets available in the sale include: stainless steel silos and tanks, including models by Mueller, Walker and Crepaco, to 50,000 gallon; Alfa Laval and Westfalia cream separators; Advantec cream load-out systems; CE Rogers 6-effect evaporator system (running sweetened condensed milk to 34-38% solids at 100,000 lb/hour); spray dryer; waste water systems; CIP systems; plant utilities, general dairy equipment, laboratory equipment and much more.
