7th April 2022 – Glass Panel Manufacturer Sale

Myron Bowling Auctioneers Inc. is selling assets from glass panel manufacturer Velocity, which come to the market following plant closure. The sale is held in conjunction with Aaron Industrial Solutions and KI Auctions.

Architectural glass fabricator Velocity was created by Minneapolis-based Apogee Enterprises. The firm supplies glass for commercial projects in Texas and the southeast United States. Apogee Enterprises announced the closure of their glass plants in Statesboro, Georgia and Dallas, Texas in summer 2021.

The webcast auction will take place on the 7th of April. The assets are located in Dallas, Texas and can be inspected the day before the auction. Lots featured in the auction include: automatic sorting management system, 2018 Lisec fully automated glass cutting, temper and insulated glass assembly lines, 2019 Lisec insulated glass assembly line, cut glass transport and sorting station return line, glass pressure / breaking system, inspection station, 2019 automatic sorting magazine system, glass temper / heat treat line, lighted stations, conveyor, glass transfer / holding carts and racks, glass inventory, DEMAG and other bridge cranes to 7.5-tons, shop presses, band saws, welders, switch gear, self dumping hoppers, lathes, mills, compressors, forklifts, material handling equipment, shop support equipment and more.
