8th April 2022 – Coil to Bar Processing Line Sale

The Branford Group is selling a coil to bar processing line no longer required for the operations of Carpenter Technology Corporation. The auction is held in conjunction with Heritage Global Partners.

Carpenter Technology Corporation manufactures parts and components from high-performance speciality materials, titanium and alloys. Their products are used in the transportation, medical, aerospace, energy, industrial and consumer electronics sectors.

The online auction will open on the 7th of April and closes on the 8th of April. The assets are located in Hamburg, Pennsylvania and can be viewed by appointment with the auctioneer only.The equipment available in the auction, which originally cost in excess of $1.5 million, includes: Coil to bar processing line featuring Hetran tilting double payoff, Hetran coil insertion manipulator (1/4″ – 7/8″), Hetran coil infeed shuttle (1/4″ – 7/8″), Hetran pre-straigthener with rotating arbor press (1/4″ – 7/8″), OCN flying shear (1/4″ – 1″), OCN double saw and chamfer unit (1/4″ – 1″). Thermal Technology DCS 10 direct current sintering furnace, Tox Pressotechnik FinePress PFW 022.002A.005 benchtop pnuematic press, Trumpf TruPrint 1000 (typeG01) 3D laser metal fusion machine, 3D Systems ProX DMP 320 heavy duty 3D direct metal printer, Bruker CETR UMT-3MT-110V TriboLab universal mechanical tester and more.
