Myron Bowling Auctioneers is selling power plant vehicles, equipment and spares from the GenOn Chalk Point power plant in Aquasco, Maryland. The auction is held in conjunction with Aaron Industrial Solutions.
Independent power producer GenOn operates electric generation facilities located in the Northeast United Sates and California. The company announced plans to retire coal-fired electric generating units at their Chalk Point facility in 2020. The two units have provided electric to Maryland and the surrounding area since the mid-1960s.
The webcast auction is scheduled to take place on the 13th of July.
