Apex Auctions is selling an iron foundry operated by GE Power. The assets come to the market following the closure of the facility located in Warmian-Masurian, Poland. GE Power is a global energy provider, with divisions specialising in gas and steam power, nuclear energy, power conversion and energy consulting.

The auction opened on the 7th of July and bidding closes on the 29th of September, featuring 73 individual lots available as a collective lot for which pre-auction offers can be made. Equipment available includes: ABP Germany type IFM 9/27.0 pit type induction furnace; UDZWG 100-ton capacity with 32-ton sister hook double girder, top running overhead bridge crane, cab / radio control operated; Blastman Technical Nowa SOL robotic surface blast booth with top running gantry type robotic grit blast nozzle; sand reclaim recycling system with sand hopper; Pieco Serwus crucible type 27-ton capacity post heating furnaces; Wöhr type DWM 40T/H sand hardening mixer; hydraulic claw; Pieco Surwus portable heating element for over pit furnaces with PLC operator interface; Produnt iron stabilization system with wire feed top type pd32 running on metal platform; CM501 16″ abrasive chop saw with extraction unit; Stork natural gas fired car bottom furnace; Stiefelmayer MZ2000 3-D counter measuring machines 3-axis and much more.
