Maynards is selling the contents of a modern automotive driveline manufacturing facility operated by GKN Driveline. The sale is held in collaboration with AllSurplus.
GKN Driveline manufactures driveline components, all-wheel drive systems and eDrive systems. The firm operates in 20 countries at 51 locations and six technology centres, and is a leader in eDrive technologies.
The online auction will take place on the 14th of September and includes: CNC machining centres by Doosan, Mazak and Chiron (up to 2014); heat treatment by AEG, EMA, Tocco, Mindon, Unitech and Inductoheat Banyard; transfer and balancing machines by Riello, Deidesheim, Universal and Schenk; finishing and cleaning by Gallenkamp, Somerfield and Guyson; CNC lathes by Daewoo, WFL, Hardinge, Emag Kingsbury, Mazak and others; honing and polishing by Delapena and Buehler; cold forming machines by Firmat and Lapointe; CNC and conventional grinding machines by Studer, Danobat, Toyoda, Jones and Shipman, Blohm and Moore (up to 2006); facing and centering machines by Hey and Giddings & Lewis; vertical broaches by Churchill Matrix, Weatherly and Karl Klink; welding and robots by Kuka, ABB and Motoman; tool room and conventional lathes by Dean Smith & Grace, Colchester and Hardinge; power presses by Galdabini, Hare, Slownik, Altlantior and Mills; Universal, turret, toolroom and spline milling machines by Cincinnati, Kearney & Trecker, Bridgeport, Thiel, Parkinson, Rouchard and Hurth and much more.
