Prestige Equipment was established in 1990 and has expertise in the procurement and sale of metalworking and fabricating equipment on behalf of businesses worldwide. In February the firm will sell a wide selection of plant support and machine shop equipment surplus to the ongoing requirements of Philips Respironics. The sale takes place in conjunction with Prestige Auctions and Heritage Global Partners.
Technology company Philips merged with Respironics in 2007. Philips Respironics design and manufacture devices for the treatment of sleep apnea, ventilation machines, oxygen concentrators and asthma treatment.
The online auction takes place on the 5th of February. The assets, located in Kennesaw, Georgia, may be inspected by appointment only and include:
Electronic test and measurement equipment including: Brown & Sharpe coordinate measuring machine; Bemco and Thermotron temperature controlled environmental chambers; Nikon microscope; Yokogawa oscilloscope; multimeters; Hewlett Packard 15MHz function/arbitrary waveform generators. Material handling equipment including: Crown reach-in and forklift trucks; Global battery operated lift; Yale gas and electric forklift trucks; pallet trucks and scissor lifters. Facility support equipment including: air compressors; compressed air dryer; regenerative blowers; storage containers; shop tables; metro carts; workbenches and pallet racking.
