Liquidity Services marketplace GoIndustry DoveBid specialise in online auctions, connecting buyers with surplus assets across a range of industries. This March Go-Dove will sell a range of sweet manufacturing equipment and support equipment. The assets come to the market following the closure of the Big Bear Confectionery Ltd facility located in Leicester, UK. The sale takes place in conjunction with Aaron Equipment Company.
Big Bear Confectionery Ltd manufactures brands including XXX Mints, Paynes Poppets and Just Brazils. The company also works with high street retailers, manufacturing own-label confectionery products. In 2019 Big Bear Confectionery Ltd announced the closure of their Fox’s Glacier Mints production facility in Leicester. The closure comes following the merger of the company with Tangerine Confectionery, and the decision to create a new, combined UK head office in Blackpool and Pontefract.
Bidding on lots in the online auction closes on the 5th of March.
