Asset valuation and disposition experts Tiger Group will this February auction a wide selection of food packaging manufacturing equipment. The assets are available following the complete closure of the D&W Fine Pack facility located in San Bernardino, California. The auction takes place in conjunction with Aaron Equipment Company, CA Global Partners and Perry Videx.
D&W Fine Pack manufactures packaging products for the food service and food processing industries. In 2019 the firm announced plans to consolidate their operations by moving manufacturing to their facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. D&W Fine Pack attributed the decision to the rising costs of operating a manufacturing plant in California, alongside changes in market dynamics. Their warehouse at the San Bernardino site will remain in operation.
The live online webcast auction will take place on the 6th of February. Assets can be viewed on the 5th of February and include:
Eleven thermoforming lines, featuring equipment by Irwin, Asano & Chou-Kagaku; 3 Hitachi sheet extrusion lines; 2 reclaim pelletizing lines; Cumberland Model 50 Granulator with 100-hp Motor; Van Dam M-560 IR Multi-Color Printing Presses Featuring 5 Mandrels. Machine shop equipment including: Victor bridge mill, Jet drill press, Grand Rapids and Havlec centerless grinders; Jet vertical band saw; Jet 1660 engine lathe; Jet horizontal band saw. Atlas-Copco and SSG air compressors; Kaeser air dryer. Material handling and plant support equipment.
